StellarRepair for Outlook
If you know the location of the PST or OST file, then you can directly specify the location and start repairing e-mails of that file. If you do not know the location, then you can search the required PST or OST file by using the search functionality ofStellar Repair for Outlook.
It is advised to disable your antivirus software before scanning because, in some instances, there is a possibility that the mailbox you are attempting to repair contains virus-infected attachments. Thus, your vigilant antivirus software will take immediate action to protect your system by flagging and moving the potential threat to quarantine, due to which you will not be able to retrieve those files entirely, as shown while scanning.
1. RunStellar Repair for Outlook.
2.Select Outlook Data File for Repairwindow appears when the software launches. Alternatively, you can also openSelect Outlook Data File for Repairwindow fromFilemenuorHomeribbon.
3. There are two tabs available to select the PST or OST files:Choose Mailbox Manually and Profile List.
(I) Choose Mailbox Manually:This is the default selected tab. Use this tab when the file location is known.
There are two options to select PST or OST files:BrowseandFind.
(i) Browse:UseBrowsebuttonif you are aware OST or PST file location.
a) Click onBrowsebutton,locate PST or OST file and then clickOpen.
b) ClickRepairto start the repairing process.
c) After the process is completed aRepair Complete与一个消息对话框,"Selected file repaired".
d) ClickOK.
(ii)Find:UseFindbutton to search for OST or PST files on your system's drives, folders, and subfolders.
a) ClickFind, Find Outlook Mailboxwindow appears.
b) Select the drive from the drop-down list. However, you can only select one drive at a time.
c) ClickFindbutton to start the search process.
d) If you wish to stop the search process, clickStop.
e) After the search is finished,Find Completedialog box appears with the number of files found. ClickOK.
f) The list of files found in the selected drive is displayed in theResultssection. Select the file you want to repair, only one file can be selected at a time.
Note: If you want to clear the search result, clickClear List.
g) ClickRepairbutton to start the repairing process.
h) After the process is completed aRepair Complete与一个消息对话框,"Selected file repaired".
i) ClickOK.
(II) Profile List:Use this tab to list all the configured outlook profiles from your system.
a) Click this tab,List configured profilesdialog box is displayed.
Note: Only once you need to list configured profiles.
b) ClickList Profilesbutton to list all the outlook profiles from your system. Total number of listed profiles are displayed.
c) From the list, select the required outlook profile.
d) ClickRepairto start the repairingprocess.
e) After the process is completed aRepair Complete与一个消息对话框,"Selected file has been repaired".
f) ClickOKto complete the process.
Note: To save repaired file, clickSave Repaired Filebutton.
After the repair process is completed, the software provides a preview of the repaired files. SeePreview Repaired Files.
