4.1.1. Select and Scan EDB Files

Stellar Converter for EDBprovides option to eitheradd the EDB filesdirectly from your hard drive orsearch for EDB files从特定folder or drive, in case you don't know its exact location.

To Browse and add EDB File:

1. ClickSelect EDB FilefromHomeribbon.Select Filedialog box opens.

2. ClickBrowseto select the EDB file that you want to convert.

3. Selected File Pathshows the path of selected EDB file.

4. Stellar Converter for EDBuses a folder on your computer to save some temporary files during the convert process. The default path of this temporary folder is given in the Temp path field. However, if you want to change the default path of theTemp path,做的步骤如下:

   1. Clickgiven in front ofTemp pathfield to browse the location.

   2. Browse for Folderdialog box opens, browse and select a folder to use as the temporary folder.

   3. ClickOKto confirm your selection.

5. ClickNextto continue.

Note:You can add multiple files but only one file can be scanned and converted at a time.

Stellar Converter for EDBalso allows you to find the EDB files in your computer's hard drive, in case you don't know their location.

To search and add EDB File:

1. InSelect Filedialog box, clickgiven in front ofLook Infield,Browse for Folderdialog box pops up.

2. Select a folder or drive where you want to search the EDB file and clickOK.

3. Look Intab shows the path of the folder you selected. ClickFindto initiate the search.

4. After the search is complete, list of EDB files found in the selected drive / folder is shown inSelect File dialogbox as shown below:

5. Select the file you want to convert from this list and clickNextto continue.

Note:You can add multiple files but only one file can be scanned and converted at a time.

Scanning of EDB Files:

1. After selecting the EDB files that you want to convert, clickNext.

2. Once scanning is complete, you can preview the data of the scanned file.
