4.1. Select Mail Client

Stellar Converter for MBOXhas option to select desired email client and mailbox to convert. If you know the mail client location, you can useSelect file/identityoption to locate mail client file/folder. If location is unknown, you can directly useFind Fileoption to locate mail client file.

Note:Before you selectGoogle Takeoutemail client, seePrerequisites for Google Takeoutto know how to export and download google data.

Steps to Select an Email Client:

1.RunStellar Converter for MBOX.

2.Select MBOXwindow appears when the software launches. Alternatively, you can also openSelect MBOXwindow fromFile menuorHome ribbon.

3. FromEmail Clientdrop-down list, select one of the following mail clients:

• Thunderbird

• Spicebird

• PocoMail

• Eudora

• Entourage

• AppleMail

• Mulberry

• SeaMonkey

• Netscape

• ClawsMail

• OperaMail

• MozillaMail

• Evolution

• Sylpheed

• Cone

• Mutt

• Gnu

• Google Takeout

4. There are following options to locate Mail Client's file or folder, choose anyone as per requirements:

• Select File

• Select Identity

• Find File

Note:Before you choose above options make sure that an email client is selected. If you select these options without selecting an email client, a warning dialog box appears with message "You need to select an email client".

Note:ForApple Mail,ClawsMail,MozillaMail,OperaMail, andSylpheedmail clients you can only useSelect Identityoption. Remaining two options are disabled when you select these mail clients.
