Recovering Data from CD/DVD

A CD/DVD disk might become unreadable or corrupt due to a number of factors, such as heat, dust, scratches on the disk.Stellar Data Recoverycan recover data from damaged CD-ROM, CD-RW, DVD and DVD-RW discs.Stellar Data Recoverysupports recovery from corrupt optical media disks burnt on Windows, Linux, UNIX, and Macintosh systems. The application performs a scan on the selected optical media for recovery.

To scan CD/DVD:

1. RunStellar Data Recovery.

2. FromSelect What to Recoverscreen, select the type of data i.e.Everything, Documents, Folders & EmailsorMultimedia Files, you want to recover.

3. ClickNext.

4. FromRecover Fromscreen, select the connected CD/DVD drive fromConnected Drives.

5. ClickScan. A screen showing the scanning process is displayed. ClickStopto stop the scan at any point.

6. Once the scanning process is completed, details of the files and folder found are displayed in a dialog box as shown below:
