In case the saved folder after data recovery or repair shows no files, first check the size of the folder created by the application.

Situation 1: If saved folder has a size

If the folder saved by the software has a size, then the files may be hidden in your Mac or Windows system. You need to unhide the files.

Steps to unhide the files in Windows 10:

  1. OpenFile Explorer. Navigate to the required folder.
  2. On top menu, selectView>Options>Change folder and search options.
  3. Select theViewtab.
  4. InAdvanced settings, selectShow hidden files, folders, and drives.
  5. ClickOK.

OR you can directly unhide files from View in menu bar:

  1. OpenFile Explorer. Open the required folder.
  2. On top menu, selectView> Go to sectionShow/hide>check hidden items box.

Steps to show or hide files on Mac:

  1. Open the required folder in which you want to display the hidden files.
  2. Hold down thecmd + shift + [.]keys.
  3. All the hidden files will then appear partially transparent.

Situation 2: If saved folder is of 0 bytes

If the folder size is 0 bytes, it means the software has not created the recovered/ repaired files on the computer. In this situation, contact Stellar Technical Support. They will analyze the problem over a remote access and share the solution.
