I don't want to recover JPEG files. Can I remove files of a specific format from the recovery search?

Yes, it is possible to removeJPEG files(or any other file type that you wish to exclude), by using theFilteroption of the application.

To apply the filter, follow the steps given below:

1. RunStellar Mac Data Recoverysoftware.
2. Click thePreferencesbutton on the main user interface or select thePreferencesoption fromStellarPhoenixMacDataRecoverymenu.
3. Click on theFiltericon.
4. UnderSpecify file filter while saving selected dataheading, selectGraphics filesfrom the drop-down menu.
5. Click thebutton and the software lists the selected file types.
6. Remove all other file types (other than the one you wish to exclude) by selecting the other file types one-by-one and then pressing the button.
7. Select theExclude these files onlyradio button.
8. After scanning, the tree will contain all the file types except JPEG files. You can then save your data at the desired location.
